2.14.010: RULES FOR GOVERNMENT:

The chief of police shall establish rules and regulations for the government of the police department of the city. Such rules and regulations shall be reviewed annually by the chief of police, with the city attorneys' office's assistance, for compliance with applicable law. The chief of police, when establishing such rules and regulations, may utilize a service or agency that provides model rules and regulations for California police departments. (Ord. 2718 § 7, 2009)
