Editor's note— Ord. No. 16-07, § 2, adopted Oct. 26, 2016, repealed the former Ch. 10.06, § 10.06.010, and enacted a new Ch. 10.06 as set out herein. The former Ch. 10.06 pertained to similar subject matter and derived from Ord. No. 13-04, § 2, adopted Dec. 11, 2013.
Sec. 10.06.010. - Adoption of California Fire Code.¶
(a) The City Council adopts and incorporates, as though set forth in full in this section, the 2025 California Fire Code, including Appendices B, BB, C, CC, and H based on the 2024 International Fire Code as published by the International Code Council, as amended by this Chapter.
(b) The provisions of the California Fire Code, as amended by this Title 10 shall constitute the Fire Code of the City of Rancho Santa Margarita and shall be known as the "Rancho Santa Margarita Fire Code."
