Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code Ch. 8.32 Adoption of Los Angeles County Public Health Licenses Regulations

A. Except as hereinafter provided, division 1, entitled "Public Health Licenses," of title 8, of the county code, as amended and in effect on November 18, 2010, is adopted by reference as the public health licenses regulations of the city and may be cited as such.

B. A copy of the county public health licenses regulations (division 1 of title 8 of the county code) has been deposited in the office of the city clerk and shall be at all times maintained by the city clerk for use and examination by the public.

In the event that any conflicts or ambiguities arise between the provisions of the public health licenses regulations adopted in section 8.32.010 (Adoption of county public health licenses regulations) and any other provisions of this Code, the other provisions of this Code shall prevail.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day or portion thereof during which any violation of any of the provisions of this chapter is committed, continued or permitted and, upon conviction thereof, is punishable as provided in section 1.08.010(A).
