§ 6.08.010. Slaughter defined.

The term "slaughter" means kill and prepare for human consumption.

§ 6.08.020. Slaughtering of dogs and cats prohibited.

It is unlawful for any person to slaughter any dog or cat.

§ 6.08.030. Slaughtering of certain other domestic animals.

It is unlawful for any person to slaughter any cattle, sheep, swine, goat, horse or mule unless such person holds, or is employed by a person who holds, a valid license issued by the state or the United States, authorizing the slaughtering of animals and such slaughtering is done in a manner and at a place permitted by such license.
