§ 19.20.160. Maintenance of private residential, commercial and industrial storm… ¶
All private residential, commercial and industrial storm drainage inlets, underdrains and gutters shall be inspected at least annually and cleaned prior to the beginning of the rainy season if there is evidence of one or more of the following conditions:
A. The sediment/debris storage volume is 25 percent or more full.
B. There is evidence of illegal discharge.
C. Accumulated sediment or debris impairs the hydraulic function of the facility.
Private streets shall also be swept and maintained as needed to prevent sediment, gardening waste, trash, litter and other contaminants from entering the city's storm drainage system.

§ 19.20.170. Use of water. ¶
To the maximum extent practicable, runoff of water used for irrigation purposes and from lawn watering shall be minimized. Runoff of water from the permitted washing down of paved areas shall be minimized to the maximum extent practicable.
