15.16.010 - Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to establish a process pursuant to which the town may ratify, modify or reject any ordinance adopted by the Woodside Fire Protection District establishing fire and panic safety standards that are more stringent than those adopted by the State Fire Marshal and contained in the California Building Standards Code.

15.16.020 - Fire Prevention Code.

If, pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 13869.7, the Woodside Fire Protection District adopts by ordinance standards relating to fire and panic safety that are more stringent than those building standards adopted by the State Fire Marshal and contained in the California Building Standards Code and the Woodside Fire Protection District transmits such an ordinance to the town, the town may ratify, modify or deny any such ordinance by resolution. No ordinance adopted by the Woodside Fire Protection District shall be effective in the town until it has been ratified by the town pursuant to this section.
