No automobile for hire shall be designated as a "taxi" or "taxicab", or by word or phrase using the words "taxi" or "taxicab" in any sign or advertising matter. (Ord. Code § 7734)

23-13.1: OUT OF SERVICE TAXICABS:

When a taxicab is not in service but is being operated on public streets, a sign shall be affixed on each side of the vehicle, clearly identifying the vehicle as being "out of service". (Ord. 1666 § 7, 4-19-2005)
