6-1: RIDING ON SIDEWALKS:

No bicycle shall be operated upon any public sidewalk. (Ord. 1537 § B21, 8-6-1996; Ord. 1608, 3-19-2002)

6-2: PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF CHAPTER:

In addition to the penalty set forth in section 1-9 of this code, the police department of the city, or any of the members thereof, may impound and retain possession of any bicycle operated in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, and retain possession of the same until the license provided for in section 6-3 of this chapter is obtained by the owner of such bicycle.
