Sec. 8-2.01. - Adoption of Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings.

The 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings is hereby adopted as the Dangerous Buildings Code—Excluding Housing—of the County of Plumas. Enforcement of Housing Law violations shall not be pursued under this Chapter 2, but shall be pursued exclusively under Chapter 4 of Title 8 of the Plumas County Code.

The County's Dangerous Buildings Code—Excluding Housing shall include by operation of law any subsequent revisions, recompilations, or supplements to the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, which shall be deemed effective and operative in Plumas County when they become officially incorporated into the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings.

In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of this Title 8 and provisions of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, the provisions of this Title 8 shall govern.

A copy of the Plumas County Dangerous Buildings Code—Excluding Housing shall be available for public inspection in the office of the Building Official and in the County law library.
