Sec. 8-18.01. - Right to appeal: Administrative hearing.¶
An administrative hearing provided under this Title 8 shall be deemed to be the appeals procedure that satisfies the Right to Appeal that is established in Section 1-4.01 of the Plumas County Code.

Sec. 8-18.02. - Conduct of the hearing.¶
An administrative hearing shall be conducted in accordance with the administrative hearing procedure in the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, which is adopted in Chapter 2 of this title. This procedure meets the standard required by California Health and Safety Code Section 17980.8(d), because the procedure substantially complies with the Uniform Housing Code. A copy of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings shall be available for public inspection in the office of the Building Official and in the County law library.

Sec. 8-18.03. - Hearing Board and supplementary rules.¶
The County Board of Supervisors is designated as the hearing board. By resolution, the Board may designate a hearing board composed of three (3) persons qualified to serve as hearing examiners. Alternatively, and cumulatively, the Board may designate a hearing officer having the power of final decision, consistent with Government Code Section 27724.
By resolution, the Board of Supervisors may adopt any supplementary rules for the conduct of the hearing, to promote convenience and efficiency, so long as the supplementary rules do not materially change the conduct of the hearing as required by Section 8-18.02.

Sec. 8-18.04. - Hearing Board recommendation to Board of Supervisors.¶
When the Board of Supervisors has designated three (3) qualified persons to serve as the hearing board, then that hearing board shall make a written recommendation to the Board of Supervisors, pursuant to California Government Code Section 25845(h). The Board of Supervisors may adopt the recommendation, or may set the matter for a hearing before the Board of Supervisors, following the procedure required by Section 8-18.02.
