§ 2.25.010. Created – Director designated.

There shall be a city department known as the city attorney's office which shall carry out the functions set forth herein. The administrative officer of the department shall be known as the city attorney and shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the city council.

The city attorney and city attorney's office shall have such duties, responsibilities and functions as provided by city council and by law.
