6-1-1: FRAUDULENTLY AVOIDING PAYMENT OF ADMISSION FEES:

It shall be unlawful for any person fraudulently to enter, without payment of the proper admission fee, any theater, ballroom, lecture, concert or other place where admission fees are charged; provided, however, that nothing herein contained shall be deemed to prohibit or restrict the free admission of police officers engaged in the performance of police duties to any place of public entertainment or amusement. 6-1-2: BARBED WIRE AND ELECTRIC FENCES:

Barbed wire fences may be used in RE and R-1A zones where there is actual raising and grazing of livestock. Barbed wire fences are also permitted in C and CG zones where the barbed wire is placed a minimum of six feet (6') aboveground. It shall be unlawful for any person to erect or maintain any electric fence as a guard to any parking lot or parcel of land. (Ord. 1158, 6-27-1978)

6-1-3: DEPOSITS OF INJURIOUS MATERIAL ON THOROUGHFARES:

It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit, place or allow to remain in or upon any public thoroughfare any material or substance injurious to person or property. (1962 Code)

6-1-4: KEEPING OF RESTRICTED JUNK:

It shall be unlawful for any person to store or keep any old articles or materials which may be classified as junk adjacent to or in close proximity to any school house, church, public parks, public grounds, business buildings or residences without first providing proper and tight buildings for the storage of the same. 6-1-5: LUG WHEELS PROHIBITED:

It shall be unlawful for tractors with wheels injurious to pavement to be permitted upon the public thoroughfares unless the operator of such vehicle shall first plank such streets. (1962 Code)

6-1-6: MUFFLERS; UNNECESSARY NOISE:

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle which shall not at all times be equipped with a muffler upon the exhaust thereof in good working order and in constant operation to prevent excessive or unusual noise and it shall be unlawful for any person operating any motor vehicle to use a cutout, bypass or similar muffler elimination appliance. 6-1-7: NUISANCES DEFINED:

Anything which is injurious to the health or morals, or indecent or offensive to the sense or an obstruction to the free use of property so as to interfere with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property is declared a nuisance and as such shall be abated 1 . (1962 Code)

6-1-8: ASSISTANCE TO POLICE OFFICERS:

It shall be unlawful for any male citizen over the age of eighteen (18) years to refuse or neglect to render assistance to any police officer when called upon for such assistance or aid in the suppression of riot or other unlawful assemblage or in the arrest of any person who has committed an offense. 6-1-9: TRESPASSING:

It shall be unlawful for any person to take down any fence or to let down any bars or to open any gate in or on the property of another without the consent of the owner, occupant or person in charge thereof. (1962 Code)

6-1-10: WATER FLOWING UPON STREETS:

It shall be unlawful for any person to allow any water to flow into or upon any public thoroughfare in such a manner to create a nuisance or hazard. (1962 Code)

6-1-11: WINDOW SILLS TO BE KEPT CLEAR:

It shall be unlawful for any person to place or keep on any window sill, porch or other projection above the first story of any building abutting on any sidewalk any article which might do injury by falling upon any person on the sidewalk in front of such building, unless said article be securely fastened or protected by screens. (1962 Code)
