§ 16.16.010. Applicability.¶
It is the intention of the city council that this chapter apply to all areas outside of the city that are served by sewers provided by the city. Sewer maintenance services are provided to properties located within the city as a city service included within the city tax rate.

§ 16.16.020. Sewer maintenance fee—Established.¶
A sewer maintenance fee is established to cover the cost of serving, maintaining, and administering sewer services provided to property owners on property that is located outside of the city boundaries.

§ 16.16.030. Sewer maintenance fee—Amount.¶
The sewer maintenance fee is set forth in Chapter 5.24 of this code.

§ 16.16.040. Collection of fees.¶
(1) Sewer maintenance fees shall be paid in a lump sum payment for the fifty-year life period.
(2) The city engineer shall compute and collect sewer maintenance fees at the time of issuance of sewer connection permits.
(3) The city engineer shall collect sewer acreage fees set forth in Chapter 5.24 of this code for all land uses.
