§ 13.40.010. Establishment.

Whenever any ordinance or resolution of the city designates any one-way street or alley, the public works director shall place and maintain signs giving notice thereof, and no such regulations shall be effective unless such signs are in place. Signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection where movement of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited and at such other locations as may be deemed advisable by the public works director.

§ 13.40.020. Designation.

When signs or markings are in place giving notice thereof, drivers of vehicles shall drive in one direction only as indicated by such signs on the following alleys designated by the city council as one-way alleys:

(1) The alley located between Santa Fe Avenue and the railroad from Melrose Street west to the end; vehicular traffic shall be one-way only westbound;

(2) The alley running east and west approximately one hundred feet south of Santa Fe Avenue between Melrose Street and Main Street; vehicular traffic shall be one-way only westbound;

(3) The alleys running north and south from Chapman Avenue to Center Street between Melrose Street and Main Street and Main Street and Bradford Avenue; vehicular traffic shall be one-way only southbound;

(4) The alleys running north and south from Center Street to the alleys located approximately one hundred feet north of Santa Fe Avenue between Melrose Street and Main Street and Bradford Avenue; vehicular traffic shall be oneway only southbound;

(5) The alleys running north and south between Bradford Avenue and Alta Street from three hundred thirty feet north of the centerline of Center Street to Santa Fe Avenue shall be one-way only, southbound.
