Pismo Beach Municipal Code Ch. 6.06 Conflicts and Penalties

In the event the locally reserved animal control regulations set forth in Chapter 6.04 are found to conflict with provisions of the San Luis Obispo County Code as adopted by reference by Chapter 6.02, the locally reserved regulations shall control. (Ord. O-2025-001 § 2 (part), 2025)

A. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in San Luis Obispo County Code Title 9, a violation of any provision of this Title shall constitute an infraction for the first offense. Any subsequent violation occurring within six (6) months after the first violation shall constitute a misdemeanor.

B. At the discretion of the city attorney, any violation identified as a misdemeanor in this title may be prosecuted as an infraction. (Ord. O-2025-001 § 2 (part), 2025)
