11.24.010 - Overflow into public place prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for any person who is in control of or in possession of any structure or premises within the limits of the City of El Paso de Robles to cause or permit the discharge of overflow waters or waste waters from any source into any street, alley or any other public place.

11.24.020 - Connection to sewers, septic tanks.

All waste waters or overflow waters from any source except as hereinafter provided, shall be connected to the sewer system, septic tank or other means provided for the disposal of waste waters at said building, structure or premises and any sewer connection shall be made only upon permit and approval of the city plumbing inspector as provided for by ordinance.

11.24.030 - Definitions.

The term WASTE WATER or OVERFLOW waters as used herein does not include the water drained from or resulting from rain, storm or other natural causes.

11.24.040 - Penalties for violations.

Any violation of this chapter shall constitute a misdemeanor, and any person found guilty thereof shall upon conviction or plea of guilty, be punished by a fine in any amount not to exceed three hundred dollars, or by imprisonment in the city jail, or in the jail of the County of San Luis Obispo, for not more than three months, or by both such fine and imprisonment, and when a fine is imposed the judgment may direct that the defendant be imprisoned in the city jail, or in the county jail, until such fine is satisfied at the rate of two dollars per day.
