9.80.010 - Prohibited discharge of firearm.

No person shall wilfully and unlawfully discharge any firearm within the corporate limits of the city except at an established firing range facility owned or operated by the city or at a private testing facility of an optics manufacturer registered with the police department; provided, however, such manufacturer shall indemnify and hold harmless the city, its officers and employees, from any damages arising from the operation of such testing facility by manufacture.

9.80.020 - Violation—Penalty.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter is deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine in a sum not to exceed $300.00 or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed 3 months, or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
