12.26.010 - Garage sales.¶
"Garage sale" is defined as a sale conducted by any person or persons of household furnishings, goods, or other tangible personal property, conducted in a noncommercial garage, yard, patio, driveway, or on any portion of the premises of a residential property.

12.26.020 - Permit required.¶
A. It is unlawful for any person, co-partnership, club or association to conduct a garage sale without having secured a permit for such sale.
B. The permit shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the premises, outdoors, or at the front entrance of the garage, patio or yard.
C. The permit fee schedules shall be as follows:
- First three time during calendar year. A fee is twenty dollars per permit with a maximum of three per calendar year.
D. Permits are obtained from the community development director.

12.26.030 - Location allowed.¶
Garage sales shall only be located on property that is used for residential purposes. Church rummage sales shall be located on the church property. No garage sales shall be conducted on city right-of-way.

12.26.040 - Number of sales allowed.¶
Development director to allow additional sales. A permit must be obtained for all garage sales.

12.26.050 - Signs.¶
Signs advertising a garage sale shall be located on the property where the garage sale is held only and individual signs shall not exceed three square feet; total signs shall not exceed nine square feet in the aggregate and shall not be placed so as to block vehicular or pedestrian views from adjoining properties. Posting of signs shall be only during the time of sale.

12.26.060 - Length of time of sale and hours permitted.¶
No garage sale shall last more than three days. No garage sale shall start before 6:00 a.m. or continue after 8:00 p.m.

12.26.070 - Violation.¶
A. The conducting of any garage sale without a valid permit shall be considered an infraction.
B. Each day of such sale without a valid permit constitutes a separate offense.
