§ 3.28.010. County authorities to assess property and collect tax.

The City Council hereby declares its desire that the assessment of property in the City and the collection of taxes in such City shall be performed by the County Assessor and the County Tax Collector of the County, respectively.

§ 3.28.020. Mayor authorized to contract with County for assessment and collection.

The Mayor of the City is hereby authorized to execute, for and in behalf of the City, a contract with the County providing for the assessment of property in the City by the County Assessor and for the collection of taxes by the County Tax Collector, a true and correct copy of which contract is annexed hereto.
