6.16.100 - Reporting by veterinarians.¶
Every veterinary surgeon practicing in the town shall immediately report, in writing, to the health officer every case of contagious pleuro-pneumonia, tuberculosis, foot and mouth disease, anthrax, Texas fever, actinomycosis, glanders, farcy or hydrophobia with which any animal he shall treat or examine in the town shall be affected. 6.16.110 - Keeping tubercular animals.¶
It is unlawful for a person to bring into the town or keep within the town, or permit to be kept on any premises owned or controlled by him within the town, any cow, or calf, or other animal afflicted with tuberculosis. (Ord. 57 §6(B), 1982)
6.16.120 - Keeping horses with glanders.¶
It is unlawful for a person to bring into the town, or keep within the town, or permit to be kept on any premises owned or controlled by him within the town, any horse afflicted with glanders. (Ord. 57 §6(C), 1982)
6.16.130 - Tubercular or glanders-afflicted animals—Destruction.¶
The health officer and his representatives are empowered under such regulations as such officer may determine to cause the destruction of any animal found in the town afflicted with tuberculosis or horse affected with glanders. (Ord. 57 §6(D), 1982)
