Chapter 3.16 — GAS TAX STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND

To comply with Section 2113, (Chapter 3 of Division 3) of the Streets and Highways Code, there is created in the city treasury a special fund to be known as the special gas tax street improvement fund. (Prior code § 10-101)

All apportionments of moneys received by the city from the highway users tax fund as provided in Sections 2106 and 2107 of the Streets and Highways Code shall be deposited into the fund established in Section 3.16.010. (Prior code § 10-102)

All moneys in the fund shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to the provisions of law, and in particular, Section 2106-2119 of the Streets and Highways Code. (Prior code § 10-103)
