Editor's note— Ord. No. 09-08, § 2, adopted Oct. 6, 2009, repealed the former ch. 8.28, §§ 8.28.010— 8.28.210, and § 3 of said ordinance enacted a new ch. 8.28 as set out herein. The former ch. 8.28 pertained to similar subject matter and derived from CCCC §§ 418-6.002—418-6.042.

8.28.010 - Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority.

The Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority's Ordinance regulating solid waste, green waste and recyclable material collection, processing, disposal and litter (Ordinance No. 97-01 of the Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority) is adopted by reference in its entirety, and as it may be amended from time to time, for so long as the city remains a member of the Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority. 8.28.020 - Enforcement and penalties.

Violations of this chapter shall be subject to enforcement pursuant to the terms of the Orinda Municipal Code. Applicable penalties shall be those established by the Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority, but shall not exceed a fine of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) and/or thirty (30) days in jail per violation.
