§ 2-9 — Ontario Municipal Code

Sec. 2-9.01. Established.¶

A public museum of natural and historical objects in the City is hereby established pursuant to the provisions of Article 6 of Chapter 4 of Division 3 of Title 4 of the Government Code of the State (commencing with Cal. Gov't Code § 37541), the provisions of which are hereby incorporated in and made a part of this chapter. (§ 1, Ord. 2053, eff. October 18, 1979)

Sec. 2-9.02. Site.¶

The historic City Hall building, located at 225 South Euclid Avenue, in its entirety, is hereby established as the site of the public museum. (§ 1, Ord. 2053, eff. October 18, 1979, as amended by § 2, Ord. 3023, eff. August 20, 2015)

Sec. 2-9.03. Name.¶

The public museum shall be given the name of “Ontario Museum of History and Art.” (§ 1, Ord. 2053, eff. October 18, 1979, as amended by § 2, Ord. 3023, eff. August 20, 2015)
