8-5.01 Adoption of the Residential Code 8-5.02 Amendment: Section R310.5
Sec. 8-5.01 Adoption of the Residential Code.¶
The 2025 Edition of the California Residential Code, as adopted by the California Building Standards Commission in California Code of Regulations Title 24, Part 2.5, is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter as if fully set forth at length herein. One (1) copy of said code is on file in the office of the City Clerk for public review. (§ 6, Ord. 3063, eff. December 15, 2016, as amended by § 6, Ord. 3148, eff. Sec. 8-5.02. Amendment: Section R310.5.¶
Section R310.5 is amended as follows - Retro-fit windows require a building permit and shall conform to the 2025 standards for emergency egress. (§ 6, Ord. 3148, eff. December 19, 2019, § 6, Ord. 3227, eff. January 5, 2023, as amended by § 6, Ord. 3321, eff. February 2026)
