2.06 of the Municipal Code.

In addition to the late charge, the City will charge a penalty of one and one-half of one

percent (1.5%) per month on all obligations older than thirty (30) days from the past due date. This is in accordance with Cal. Health and Safety Code § 5473.10. (c) Nothing contained in this section shall limit, restrict or otherwise affect the imposition of greater late charges, interest, penalties or other charges for late payments as provided for by other sections of the Municipal Code, or by the laws of the State of California, it being the purpose of this section to establish a minimum late charge.
