For rent-controlled units, the annual allowable increase amount effective March 1, 2026 through February 28, 2027 is 1.6%.
To calculate the dollar amount of the 1.6% annual rent increase, multiply the tenant's base rent by .016.
The annual allowable increase amount effective March 1, 2025 through February 28, 2026 is 1.4%.
