§ 28-25. Laterals--Location and design.

The director shall be responsible for the location and design of mains, laterals and appurtenances and shall supervise the construction and installation thereof.

§ 28-26. Quality of construction.

All new sewer lines must be constructed for minimum infiltration and exfiltration. No more than two hundred gallons of infiltration/exfiltration per day per inch diameter of sewer per mile will be acceptable.

§ 28-27. Testing new lines.

All joints shall be gastight and watertight. All new sewer lines shall be air tested to conform to the standards in section 28-26. Testing shall be done at the expense of the applicant, and the results of such testing shall be checked and approved by the director.
