Article III — Acquisition and Use of Public-Owned Property

§ 17.02.130. Approval of acquisition and use of public-owned property. ¶
Whenever, pursuant to the provisions of Title 7 of the Government Code, known as the Planning and Zoning Law, the Commission approves the acquisition of any square, park or other public ground or open space by any public entity, it may, in approving, designate additional permitted uses permitted such public entity on such property, which uses shall be in addition to those uses permitted in the zone in which such property is located.
In approving such acquisition, the Commission may attach such restrictions, conditions and requirements thereto as it shall deem desirable to accord with the purposes and intents of this title and the character and land use or other related problems of the neighborhood.
