§ 3.34.010. Imposition of civil penalties.¶

In addition to other means of enforcement the city may impose civil penalties as a means of securing obedience to lawfully enacted ordinances. Such civil fines shall be set by resolution of the city council and shall be imposed as a pecuniary punishment for engaging in unlawful activity.
