Newport Beach Municipal Code Ch. 15.14 Existing Building Code

The City Council adopts and incorporates by reference, as though set forth in full in this section, the 2025 Edition of the California Existing Building Code, 24 CCR Part 10, Appendix A, Chapters A-1, A-2 and A-3, and all national codes and standards referenced therein to the prescribed extent of each such reference.

The various parts of these codes and standards shall constitute and be known as the “Newport Beach Existing Building Code.” A copy of the 2025 California Existing Building Code, printed in code book form, shall be kept on file in the office of the Building Official pursuant to California Health and Safety Code Section 18942(e)(1) and made available for public inspection.
