10.48.010 - Posting signs prohibited—Generally.

Except as otherwise provided in Section 10.48.030, all persons are prohibited from posting signs and advertisements within the city on telegraph or telephone poles, or on bridges or sign board posts, or any other public property.

10.48.020 - Disfiguring sign post prohibited.

No person shall in any way destroy, injure or disfigure any street sign post.

10.48.030 - Posting signs prohibited—Exception.

The city council by resolution, after considering the recommendation of the planning commission, and in accordance with standards to be established by resolution duly adopted, may grant permission to post not withstanding the provisions of Section 10.48.010, such sign or signs as it may determine to be reasonable and proper upon written application to the city clerk, filed by the person, organization or other entity desiring to post such sign or signs.

10.48.040 - Penalty.

Every person found guilty of violating any provision of this chapter is punishable as prescribed in Section 1.20.010.
