15.36.010 - Document adopted by reference.¶
For the purpose of establishing proper regulations for the abatement of dangerous buildings, the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 Edition hereinafter referred to as the "abatement of dangerous buildings code," is hereby adopted and made a part of this code by reference, subject to the modifications set forth in this chapter.

15.36.020 - Modifications.¶
Each section of the abatement of dangerous buildings code designated in succeeding sections of this chapter shall be changed to read as set forth in this chapter.

15.36.030 - Section 201.1 amended—Administration and enforcement.¶
Section 201.1 of the abatement of dangerous buildings code is changed to read as follows:
The building official and the health officer are hereby authorized and directed to administer and enforce all of the provisions of this Code. Each of them may act jointly with the other or independently in discharging his duties hereunder. Whenever the words "building official" are used hereinafter, they shall also mean "health officer," and whenever the words "health officer" are used hereinafter, they shall also mean "building official."

15.36.040 - Section 205—Board of appeals.¶
The functions of the board of appeals referred to in Section 205 of the abatement of dangerous buildings code shall be performed by the unified board of appeals constituted pursuant to 15.04.090 of this code and no separate board of appeals shall be created.
