1.12.010 - Historical background.¶
Upon published notice given in the manner provided in Section 6061 of the Government Code of the state, and in conformance with the requirements of Government Code Section 71042, a public hearing was conducted by the board of supervisors on January 23, 1976, to consider the possible consolidation of the Napa-St. Helena Judicial District and the Calistoga Judicial District, both within the county. The public hearing was conducted, and the board of supervisors heard and considered all presentations then made on such proposal. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the board of supervisors did then and there determine, pursuant to the provisions of Article 2 of Chapter 6, Title 8 of the Government Code, commencing with Section 71040, and in conformance with all other applicable laws, that the consolidation of the Napa-St. Helena Judicial District and the Calistoga Judicial District was and is in the best interest of the county and its citizens.

1.12.020 - Consolidation—Napa-St. Helena-Calistoga Judicial District.¶
From and after the operative date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, the Napa-St. Helena Judicial District and the Calistoga Judicial District shall be consolidated, and the consolidated district shall be known as the "Napa-St. Helena-Calistoga Judicial District."

1.12.030 - District boundaries—Designated.¶
The boundaries of the Napa-St. Helena-Calistoga Judicial District shall be described as:
Including and embracing the entire county of Napa, state of California.

1.12.040 - District boundaries—Map.¶
The county surveyor is directed to prepare, in conformance with the provisions of Government Code Section 71042.6, a map showing the boundaries of the Napa-St. Helena-Calistoga Judicial District, and shall file such map with the county recorder.

1.12.050 - Location for municipal court sessions.¶
Sessions of the municipal court of the county may be held in the city of Napa, the city of St. Helena, the city of Calistoga, and in such other locations as the board of supervisors may by ordinance designate. Such sessions shall be held when and as business requires.
