Mountain House Municipal Code Ch. 1 General Matters

This code shall be known as the "Mountain House Municipal Code" and may be so cited in any prosecution for violation of this Code. Any ordinance amending this Code shall be designated as an amendment to the "Mountain House Municipal Code". Every reference to this code or any portion of this code applies to this code as now in effect or as hereafter amended.

The adoption of this code shall not affect the following matters:

(a) Actions and proceedings which were commenced before the effective date of this code.

(b) Prosecution of ordinance violations committed before the effective date of this code.

(c) Licenses and penalties due and unpaid at the effective date of this code and the collection of these licenses and penalties.

(d) Bonds and cash deposits required to be posted, filed, or deposited pursuant to any ordinance.

(e) Matters which refer to, or are connected with ordinances, the substances of which are included in this code; these references shall be construed to apply to the corresponding provisions of this code.

This code takes effect July 1, 2024.
