Mount Shasta Municipal Code Ch. 6.08 Nuisance Abatement Expense Payment

In those situations wherein it is determined that a nuisance exists within the City limits of Mt. Shasta, and that the public health, safety and welfare requires the abatement of the nuisance and those persons creating, causing, committing or maintaining the nuisance refuse to abate same at their own expense, and the City of Mt. Shasta proceeds to summarily abate said nuisance, then, in that event, the expense of abatement shall become a lien upon the property whereon the nuisance was maintained, and shall further become a personal obligation against the property owner.
