10.31.010 Establishment of speed limits on certain streets.¶
(A) In accordance with the provisions of Cal. Veh. Code §§ 22357 and 22358, the City of Mt. Shasta has had engineering and traffic surveys prepared by an engineer which included the streets or portions of streets set forth in this chapter.
(B) Considering the recommendations resulting from the traffic surveys, vehicle speed limits shall be restricted and limited at the locations described hereinbelow:
(1) Lake Street: between Alder Street and I-5 – 25 mph.
(2) North Mt. Shasta Boulevard: between Hinckley Street and Alma Street – 25 mph.
(3) Pine Street: from West Alma Street to West Lake Street – 25 mph.
(4) Pine Street: from West Alma Street to Lassen Lane – 30 mph.
(5) South Mt. Shasta Boulevard: from Old McCloud Road to Mountain View Drive – 25 mph. (Ord. CCO-03-06, 2003)
