1.12.010 - City holidays.¶
Those holidays set forth in the memorandum of understanding, city of Morgan Hill American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, July 1, 1995—July 30, 1997, or any subsequent memorandum of understanding(s), are city holidays. All city offices shall be closed on such holidays.

1.12.040 - Time off to vote on election days.¶
Every city employee who is a registered voter and does not have sufficient time outside his working hours within which to vote at any election, may, without loss of pay, take off sufficient time to enable him to vote, as provided for in the California Elections Code. Such time may be taken off only at the beginning or end of the regular working shift, whichever allows him to the most free time for voting, and the employee must, if possible give his department head at least two working days' notice of his need to take time off to vote.
