7.40.010 - Exemption—Scenic highway corridor.¶
Pursuant to Business and Professions Code Sections 13531(b) and 20881 (b), gasoline service stations located along, or within the "Officially Designated State Scene Highways" and "Officially Designated County Scenic Routes", as set forth in the scenic highway element of the Monterey County General Plan (enacted pursuant to Government Code 65300 et. seq.) are exempted from the requirements of posting gasoline prices as set forth in the Business and Professions Code Sections 13531(a) and 20881(a).

7.40.020 - Compliance with zoning.¶
Pursuant to Business and Professions Code Sections 13545 and 20896, the gasoline service stations described in Section 7.40.010 above are required to comply with Title 21 of this code and other regulations of the County of Monterey.
