3.12.010 - Enforcement—County responsibilities.

Pursuant to the authority granted by the State law and regulations specified in this Section, the County of Monterey assumes the responsibility for the enforcement of Division 13, Part 1, (commencing with Section 17000) of the Health and Safety Code, and Title 25, Chapter 2 (commencing at Section 600) of the California Administrative Code, effective as of January 1, 1972.

3.12.020 - Enforcement—Duty of Director of Health Services and Director of Building Inspection.

The Monterey County Director of Health Services, and the authorized employees of his or her department, shall administer and enforce this Chapter and the State law and regulations specified in Section 3.12.010, except that the Director of Building Inspection of the County of Monterey shall administer and enforce all laws, regulations and ordinances applicable to the construction of labor camps.

3.12.030 - Labor camps—Fees.

A. Every person applying for a permit to operate a labor camp shall pay fees to the Director of Health Services as prescribed in Chapter 10.08, Section 10.08.050CC.

B. The fees for a permit to construct a labor camp shall be those specified by Ordinance No. 2515 of the County of Monterey, codified in Title 18 of this Code, relating to the construction of buildings, or any ordinance of the County superseding it, and shall be paid to the director of Building Inspection of the County of Monterey.
