11.04.010 - Misdemeanor—Penalty.

Any person who gives false information as to any matter required by any form or other document used by the welfare department of the County of Monterey or by the Monterey County hospital, in the determination of eligibility or continued eligibility for welfare aid or for hospital care is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by imprisonment in the County Jail for a term not to exceed ninety (90) days, or by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by both such fine and imprisonment.
