5.02.010 - Domestic animals.¶
For the purposes of this title, "domestic animal" means an animal of a species of vertebrates that has been domesticated by humans so as to live and breed in a tame condition and depend on humankind for survival. Domestic animals shall include, but not be limited to, any dog, cat, equine or bovine animal, goat, sheep, swine, poultry, or other domesticated beast or bird.

5.02.020 - Enforcing Officer defined.¶
For the purposes of this title, "Enforcing Officer" means the City Manager, the Chief of Police, the Humane Officer, the Health Officer, the Code Enforcement Officer, the NPDES Environmental Compliance Inspector, or such other person as the City Council may designate. The City Council, by contract, may delegate to a humane society or other person the collection of license fees and the performance of any of the duties of the Enforcing Officer.
