§ 8.40.010 ENFORCEMENT RESPONSIBILITY ASSUMED.

The city assumes responsibility for implementing the provisions of Cal. Health and Safety Code Division 20, Chapter 6.95 (beginning with § 25500).

§ 8.40.020 ADMINISTRATION BY FIRE DEPARTMENT.

The Fire Department is designated as the administering agency responsible for administering and enforcing the provisions of Cal. Health and Safety Code Division 20, Chapter 6.95 (beginning with § 25500) within the jurisdictional limits of the city.

§ 8.40.030 COOPERATION WITH COUNTY.

The Fire Department shall give notice to the County of Los Angeles of the adoption of the ordinance codified in this chapter and shall consult with and coordinate its activities with the county to avoid duplicating efforts or any misunderstandings regarding the areas, duties, and responsibilities of each administering agency.
