5.20.010 - Violation investigation.

The sheriff of the county is authorized and directed to investigate and report to the tax collector immediately any business establishment which does not have a current county business license conspicuously displayed in the business establishment. The sheriff and each of his deputies shall, while performing their routine work, examine business establishments to determine whether a business license is so conspicuously displayed, and the sheriff and the deputies shall make a definite and persistent effort to continuously examine business establishments for the purpose of determining whether the business establishments are properly licensed pursuant to Chapters 5.04—5.28.

5.20.020 - Reservation service—Restrictions.

Any other act of reserving than that as defined in Section 5.08.080 by such business constitutes a violation of Chapters 5.04—5.28.

5.20.030 - Reservation service—Limitations.

No reservations shall be made for any hotel, motel or condominium apartment by any reservation service without first having obtained the county business license number of the hotel, motel or condominium.
