8.24.010 - Breaking, removing or injuring.¶
It is unlawful for any person to break, remove or injure any of the parts or appurtenances of the fire alarm system of the city; provided, that nothing contained in this section shall be construed as prohibiting the breaking of the glass in a fire alarm box by a person about to turn in an alarm of fire in the city.

8.24.020 - Unauthorized possession of keys.¶
It is unlawful for any person to have in his possession, or under his control, any key, belonging to or fitted to open the lock of any signal box of the fire alarm system, or to make or fit any such key without the permission of the chief of the fire department.

8.24.030 - Obstruction of signal box.¶
It is unlawful for any person to put, place or suffer to be or remain upon any street or sidewalk, any article or thing whatsoever in such a manner as to obstruct, hinder or interfere with the free access or approach to any signal box of the fire alarm system.

8.24.040 - Replacement of wires after movement of building.¶
Whenever the moving of any building over or along the public streets of the city requires the removal or displacement of any wires, belonging to the fire alarm system, the person moving or intending to move such building, shall give notice thereof to the chief of the fire department, and the chief of the fire department shall furnish to such person an estimate of the cost of removing and replacing such wires and shall, on receiving from such person the amount of such estimated cost, remove such wires within twenty-four hours after the receipt of such deposit. In the case the actual cost of removing such wires and appurtenances and replacing them is less than the amount so deposited, then the excess of such deposit over such cost shall be returned to the person by whom the deposit was made.

8.24.050 - Crossing or running wires too near.¶
It is unlawful for any person to run, erect or maintain any wire crossing any wire of the fire alarm system, within a distance of ten inches; provided, that where the wires so crossing each other are attached to the same pole at the place of crossing, the distance may, with the written consent of the chief of the fire department, be decreased. It is unlawful for any person to run, erect or maintain any wire parallel or approximately parallel with any wire of the fire alarm system and within a distance of ten inches therefrom.

8.24.060 - Tree limbs, shrubs or vines.¶
It is unlawful for any person owning or controlling any land along or near the lines of the fire alarm system to allow any branch or limb of any tree, shrub or vine growing on such land to be or remain within a distance of two feet from any wire of the fire alarm system.
