Merced Municipal Code Ch. 19.04 Purpose

This title and any other policy and procedural guidelines which have been or may be adopted by the city council are intended to provide guidelines for implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act in the city, and to state guidelines adopted for that purpose. In the event that guidelines adopted by the city, by ordinance or resolution, are not adequate to provide guidance in any matter of policy or procedure covering environmental review, reference is made to the Guidelines for Implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 appearing in California Administrative Code, Title 14, Division 6, Chapter 3, § 15000, et seq.
