§ 6.32.010. Permit fees—Established.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 2022(b) of Title 25 of the California Administrative Code, the fees specified in this chapter are established as the fees for a permit to operate a labor camp. (Ord. 759, 1975)

§ 6.32.020. Permit fee—Determination.

Every person applying for a permit to operate a labor camp shall submit fees for a permit to operate in accordance with the provisions of this section. Fees for an annual permit to operate shall be determined as follows:

  • A. Permit to operate, fee of $25 or $4 for each employee, whichever is greater, which the employee housing, labor camp, or labor supply camp has the capacity to house, where such housing is supplied by the operator, and $4 for each lot or site provided for parking of mobile homes or recreational vehicles by employees;

  • B. Permit is not transferable;

  • C. Amended permit to charge. Fees will be charged as specified in subsection A of this section for any increase in the number of employees to be housed and additional lots or sites provided for parking of mobile homes or recreational vehicles by employees;

  • D. There will be no charges for the following types of inspections provided a current permit has been issued:

    1. Routine inspections;

    2. Information and consultation type inspections requested by the operator or the employees;

  1. Complaint inspections.

§ 6.32.030. Reinspection fees.

The fees for a permit to operate shall be considered as inspection fees for the initial annual inspection of a labor camp. When any reinspection is required pursuant to Section 2016.4 of Title 25 of the California Administrative Code, the operator shall pay a reinspection fee for each reinspection, as follows:

  • A. Twenty-five dollars; provided, that such inspection is not in excess of one hour in duration;

  • B. Twelve dollars and fifty cents for each 30 minutes or fractional part thereof in excess of one hour.

§ 6.32.040. Fees—Changing.

All fees in this chapter may be changed by resolution of the board of supervisors.
