Sec. 22.12.070 - Excavation Plan.¶
Prior to conducting any archaeological excavation either as impact mitigation pursuant to CEQA or for the purposes of archaeological research, the principal investigator shall submit an excavation plan to the Commission for its approval. Such plan shall provide a research design, information as to cost limits, excavation techniques, methods of preservation of material remains, and any other information as specified under Appendix K of CEQA. This plan may be included as part of an evaluative report or in a separate report, as in the case of archaeological research excavation. Excavation plans may be modified, if deemed necessary, by the Commission prior to Commission approval.

Sec. 22.12.080 - Excavation Report.¶
A copy of the final archaeological excavation report shall be submitted by the principal investigator to N.I.C. and to the Commission for their review.
