§ 9.36.010. Fireworks restrictions.

In addition to restrictions on the sale, possession, use, detonation, or explosion of fireworks within the city limits of Malibu, it is unlawful to use, light, detonate, or display any fireworks offshore of the Malibu coast if sound from such displays is audible from the shore at any time except on July 1st through 6th, December 31st, January 1st, or other times as authorized by the city council.

Fireworks shall commence no earlier than sunset and conclude by 10:00 p.m.
