Article VIII — PUBLIC URINATION OR DEFECATION

Sec. 18.80.010. - Definitions.¶
For the purpose of this section, the following words and terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them.
(a)
Town means the Town of Los Gatos.
(b)
Defecate means to void excrement from the bowels.
(c)
Public place means any road or street, or public school, or place of public assemblage, or real property, building, or other space or area which is open to public access, and
(i)
Which is under public control, or
(ii)
Which is maintained at public expense, or
(iii)
In which the Town or the County of Santa Clara, or the State of California, or the United States, as the case may be, owns some or all interest or which it leases.

Urinate means to pass or discharge waste matter excreted by the kidneys.

Sec. 18.80.020. - Prohibited acts.¶
It shall be unlawful to urinate or to defecate in, upon, or about any public place within the Town.
Any person violating any provision of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine according to section 1.10.040 of the Town Code.
