Sec. 8.253. Cooperation – Implementation.¶
All Departments, employees and officers of the City of Los Angeles shall cooperate to the fullest extent with the Department, provided, however, that no Department or officer shall be required to do anything in this connection which would conflict with the duties of that Department or person as established by the Charter or other applicable law.

Sec. 8.254. Coordination with Other Agencies.¶
The Department shall, whenever practical, coordinate its programs with any other similar agency, Federal, State or otherwise, so as to avoid duplication of effort and assure an effective working relationship between the City and other public or private agencies in this field.

Sec. 8.255. Conformance with City Organization.¶
The Department shall adhere to all laws, rules, regulations and administrative procedures as may be prescribed for other offices, departments and bureaus under the control of the Mayor and City Council.
